Tomato Juice, Anyone?

A healthy drink does not need to be expensive, fuzzy or complicated.  Fresh tomato is one of the most common vegetable that we can find in our fridge.  But did you know that scientifically, tomato is actually a fruit? Fruits are developed from the ovary in the base of the flower and carry the seeds of the plant.  However, as far as cooking is concerned, tomato is a vegetable.  Y ou can find tomato in almost every dish that we have and it becomes gourmets’ favourite.  Moms love to include this in almost every meal for many reasons: it is nutritious, it tastes good, it is cheap and it brings nice red colour in the dish.  When tomatoes are cooked, it liquifies and blends in to the rest of the ingredients thus the moms can sneakingly mix the vegetable to the dish without being noticed by kids who hates vegetables.
