TO MY ONE GREAT LOVE 


This is to the one who took my heart
To the one I can't even call mine
Oh my plan is not to fall from the start
But you got me without even a sign. 


What one can't own & only dream of having
Every night one keeps, one holds and sleeps with
On a sad evening,  it's you I am thinking


But being with you is just a great myth. 
Maybe there's really a way for us
To love freely and to choose... 
Be mine,  at least,  for once! 
Own me,  take me, take away my blues. 


Shall I stop believing in your love,
In your vague promises,  the we'll see and maybe
How can I even convince God above, 
That love is truly enough to have you with me.

A Love Story

One day, she woke up wondering. She woke up wondering why he suddenly stopped pursuing her. He stopped chasing. He was not as persistent as he used to be. She knew that there was something there before that isn't there anymore. The addictive, fun, engrossing long talks that used to keep her up all night turned into boring conversation.  The giggles turned into fake laughter and most of the time, silence. She could have asked. She could have called his attention. She could have initiated to talk it over and convince him to bring back what used to be there. She threw him clues. She tried to communicate with him but he seemed uninterested. She knew her last resort... she thought that maybe it's about time to try that one underrated and slightly used word called self-respect. Sunset Story

“When you look at this picture, what do you see?”, asked a middle-aged man.  I was surprised when he approached me and asked me this question out of the blue.  Before I looked at the picture, I stared at him.  He seemed familiar but I cant recall where I saw him.  Maybe I met him somewhere, maybe an old friend, an acquaintance or something.  He caught me off-guard with his friendly smile, meek appearance yet full of wisdom.  He looks ordinary, wearing jeans and a shirt but he seems not from this place. He is different from everyone else around me, or at least  my vibes would tell me so.
